The One Big Story

While we know that several types of literature make up the Bible, the biggest and most prominent type is narrative. Genesis to Revelation tells a story. People meeting Yahweh the one true God, learning to walk with him, learning to obey as his people. God is the main Actor of this story and supremely so in the God-Man, Jesus Christ. Christians through faith are adopted into God’s family to “work in the family business,” which is salvation for all who will receive the Gift. When we read the Bible, it’s not always easy to see the thread of this One Big Story that connects all the books of the Bible together to reveal it. This study will follow that story thread through the Bible, so that we can see it more clearly and, more importantly, grasp how we, now, in our day, have become part of God’s story of salvation.

Galatians: The Meaning and Impact of Identity in Christ

This video series on Galatians shares content and conversation from the Koinonia class that Stephen Rankin teaches each Sunday.  The topics that we’re digging into are (1) the basis of Christian identity, (2) how we best understand scripture (the Law), since now there is no longer Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female, but all are one in Christ, and (3) what Christian freedom really looks like.  We hope you find your hearts strengthened.
