On a surface reading, it is easy to pigeon-hole the New Testament book of James into little more than a set of disconnected ethical rules. Yet it also gives profound insight into the Christian life, especially how God’s nature guide social relations. We will read James in conjunction with the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew and certain of St. Paul’s observations in books like Romans and Galatians. Let’s dig in and gain new insight for how to live as faithful, maturing followers of Jesus. Keep scrolling to participate.
